The Black Dog Bar takes its name from Billy the Black Labrador whose welcoming character, faithfulness and desire to please are the qualities we now emulate in our bar and service.
We proudly serve a hand-picked selection of New Zealand’s fine wines as well as a fantastic line-up of Whiskey and all your favourite drops.
While in Fiordland, you’d be mad not to try our full-bodied Fiordland Pinot Noir, delicious Fiordland Sauvignon Blanc or refreshing Fiordland Lager – all made especially for us; and be sure to sample our delicious bar food menu – served every day, perfect to enjoy with a drink or two.
